We want to make sure you get the best fragrance experience possible. Taking care of your candle is quick and easy, and will keep your candle burning properly.
- Trim your wick. Make sure you keep the wick ¼ of an inch long. You can use scissors, nail trimmers, or even a wick trimmer. Keeping the wick trimmed will keep the flame burning evenly over the wax and maximize the life of your candle.
- Burn your candle until the wax melts to the edge of the candle vessel. Burning the candle this way creates what is known as a memory ring. When the wax remembers to burn to the edges of the vessel, it keeps the candle from tunneling, or burning down the center and leaving the outer wax un-melted. It takes approximately 2-4 hours for the first burn.
- Discard the candle when there is ¼” of the wax left. We know, it is sad to let a candle go when there’s a little bit left, but discarding it at this point is for your safety.
- Do not leave the candle unattended.
