A Look At Fruit Fragrances

As we continue our journey in fragrance education here at LightScapes Candle, we would like to share what we have discovered. So, in celebration of warmer temperatures on the way, we dove into fruit fragrances. Fruits can fall into many subcategories. Here are three from our candle collections; Citrus, Soft, and Orchard. 

Citrus scents such as grapefruit, lemon, and orange have a sharp and slightly tart aroma which connotes clean, uplifting, and bright energy to a fragrance profile.

Soft fruit fragrances are bursting with ripe sweetness. These tend to be juicy fragrances such as mango, pineapple, and raspberries. 

Orchard fragrances such as peach, apple, and pears are lighter with a slight floral sweetness. They often highlight Autumnal aromas as they generate nostalgic memories of orchard apple picking and late summer fruits.
